Morgan appeared alongside other actors in the informational film Safe Sex for Men and Women, which focuses on AIDS prevention and education. Morgan contributed a part of her earnings towards the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is part of the Entertainment Industry's AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the primary driver behind numerous fund-raising efforts for the disease. She also spoke before a Congressional special committee that focused on AIDS education. She is on the board of Governors of APLA and Board of Directors of Amfar. C. Everett's former assistant surgeon general asked her occasionally to be his substitute during AIDS awareness events. In addition, she was host of the AIDS Awareness Special hosted by Steve Bell. Ted Koppell has interviewed her two times about AIDS in Nightline. Morgan has been nominated by the Emmys for Diane English's Murphy Brown special written especially specifically for Morgan. Morgan co-starred on the ABC TV series Your Money or Your Wife alongside Joan Rivers. The summer began by Murder At The PTA Luncheon. Productions like Von Zerneck/Sertner also featured Cindy Williams and Marla Gabbs. The second part of the film took her to Luxembourg in which she appeared in the roles of Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady in the production of Harmony Gold. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee were also featured. Morgan also played in the psychological thriller "The Leading Lady" that was exclusively produced for USA Network. This thriller garnered the best ever ratings for that network.
